Mr. Finney wishes us to correct a mistake into which some have fallen respecting his connection with the Oberlin Evangelist. He is constantly receiving letters as editor, or publisher, or both. He is neither. He wishes his friends to understand that he has no connection with, and no responsibility about the paper, except that he makes it a medium through which to publish some of his writings. He sees no other article till after it is published. His relation to it is the same as his relation to the New York Evangelist when his lectures were published in that paper. [The Editor]
